International Exchange

Villa Duchesne is one of the more than 150 members of the International Network of Sacred Heart Schools. Our high school students may spend either a quarter or semester at one of our sister schools in one of 31 countries. Students from Sacred Heart schools around the world also attend Villa Duchesne and live with host families.

These opportunities for exchange are considered stepping stones, an expansion of a strong cross-cultural collaboration, understanding language acquisition, and asks of us a generous commitment for serious on-going formation and a broad critical vision of the world. These exchanges offer an opportunity for students and teachers to broaden their horizons, in living the Goals and Criteria, academically and socially by sharing the life of students and teachers in other parts of the world. The programs aspire to prepare students for living in the "global village."
