Duchesne Society Award 2025
The Duchesne Society Award is given to a member of the Villa Duchesne community who embodies the mission of Sacred Heart education. This person embraces and lives the philosophy of the Sacred Heart through a generosity of heart, spirit, and mind, giving with intention and lasting impact, and altruistic acts of time, talent, and volunteerism.
Villa Duchesne is honored to recognize Francesca DiRollo as the 2025 Duchesne Society Award recipient. Miss DiRollo is deeply connected to Villa Duchesne and the mission of Sacred Heart education and is recognized for her accomplishments, achievements, and contributions.
Francesca DiRollo
Francesca DiRollo, a Child of the Sacred Heart, brought her love of our shared mission from her school days in Scotland and her time as a Sacred Heart educator in Japan to Villa Duchesne in 1979. After initially teaching at Oak Hill, she became Director of Students for Grades 7-8, shaping our Villa Middle School with wisdom and care until her retirement in 2015. Spending almost her entire life within the Sacred Heart network formed Francesca’s deep devotion to our mission, and her lasting impact on generations of students and colleagues continues to inspire our community today. We are honored to recognize her commitment to the Sacred Heart mission with the Duchesne Society Award.
