Villa Duchesne and Oak Hill School

Master Plan Phase One | The Middle School

Villa Duchesne is proud to foster the intellectual, spiritual, and social development of the boys and girls of our Lower School and the young women of our Middle and Upper Schools. As we begin to look forward to the celebration of our Centennial, we are focused on shaping the future of our School, educational experience and sustainability, while guided by our Sacred Heart mission and committed to nurturing compassionate, confident, and courageous students. In our recently unveiled Campus Master Plan, we shared our vision for Villa Duchesne crafted with fidelity to our Catholic, Sacred Heart mission, and a clear focus on the future, beginning with Phase One, the Middle School.

Advancing our Middle School Initiative

We are thrilled to introduce our Middle School Initiative, the first phase in the implementation of Villa Duchesne’s new Campus Master Plan. Our vision is to be the premier Middle School for girls in grades six through eight, providing an exceptional educational experience that prepares them for success in high school, college, and beyond.

The Middle School Initiative plans to incorporate grade six into Villa’s existing all-girls Middle School. This strategic move will create space for continued growth in our thriving Lower School, solidify our position as the premier Middle School experience in St. Louis, and offer significant opportunities for enrollment growth in the Upper School.

We're enhancing academic rigor with a cutting-edge curriculum and engaging experiences, readying students for today's complex world.

Every experience at Villa prepares our students for the next one. An investment in our all-girls Middle School program is also an investment in the stability and academic excellence of our High School.
