Villa’s Tennis Program is outstanding, having played in the State Championship four out of the past five years and winning State in 2020. The School wants to elevate the tennis facilities to capitalize on the location of the Gueck Pavilion and parking, creating a “hub” on the southwest corner of our campus for fall athletics. Plans to replace the current courts with a grass field will make the lower campus the center for soccer and CYC athletics. Additional parking will be added behind the 1929 Main Building to increase spaces available on the upper campus.

Villa Duchesne is proud to again partner with Byrne and Jones Construction as we embark on our next endeavor on our award-winning campus: the relocation of the tennis courts. The new courts will be made of post-tension concrete, making them durable, maintenance free, and ensuring the courts are in good condition for decades to come. The new location on the upper campus will provide ample parking, enhanced viewing areas, and proximate restrooms at the Gueck Pavilion. Cabanas for players and covered viewing for spectators will make the new courts a commensurate facility for our State Championship winning team.

The Team Tennis Campaign Committee is currently seeking leadership gifts to move this project from dream to reality. Please consider making a gift or joining our committee to raise the funds necessary for this project. We have secured $1,630,000 towards our $2,100,000 goal, and we need you to help us make this project come to life.
